On occasion you will be asked to clear your Browser's Cache. This will show you how to do so.
How to clear your cache:
1: Open up your Internet Explorer program (the big blue "E" icon)
2: Find the Menu option for "Tools" or click on the "Cog Wheel" in the upper right hand corner.
3: Select Internet Options
4: In the Section for "Browsing History" click the Delete Button
5: Make sure there is a Check mark next to "Cookies and Website data" and "Temporary Internet Files" ***Please make sure that "Preserve Favorites Website data" is also checked, unchecking this may cause issues in running and viewing reports and documents in SIMS and may cause errors when opening Document Approval.***
6: Un-check any of the remaining items
7: Click the Delete button
8: After several seconds, you will see a notice at the bottom of the window that says "Internet Explorer has finished deleting the selected browsing history"
9: Close out of Internet Explorer completely! This includes ClaimsXPress and any related tabs such as Report Manager or Document Management.
10: After that you should be able to open Internet Explorer again and resume working.
